31 Ways in 31 Days to Celebrate Latine Children, Youth, and Families

Hispanic Hericate Month 2022
From September 15th to October 15th, our nation celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month to observe and recognize our Latine* culture and the milestones and contributions of our community. The observation originated as a week-long celebration and was later extended by President Ronald Reagan in 1988 to be celebrated over a full month. Rightfully so, as our U.S. Hispanic population reached 62.1 million in 2020, accounting for 19% of all Americans and making our community the nation’s second largest ethnic group, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
