The mission of Caminar Latino is to create possibilities for Latino families affected by violence to transform their lives and their communities.

Caminar Latino or “Latino Journey” carries out its mission by creating safe spaces for each family member to begin their journey towards non-violence. Caminar Latino is Georgia’s first and only comprehensive domestic-violence intervention program for Latino families.


Here's how your donation can change lives:

$25: A Teddy Bear for 5 new youth participants to help them feel safe
$50: Assist a victim with obtaining a Temporary Protective Order
$125: A Individual Counseling session for a child who has been sexually abused
$250: Monthly cost for healthy snacks for youth groups
$500: Monthly cost for a support Group for Survivors where they learn about domestic violence, their rights, and how to increase their safety
$1,000: Parenting Education classes, including childcare, to support parents in ending the cycle of violence
